Personally, I think that it is not a good idea to revive animals that are extinct by nature, if they have become extinct it will be for some reason, but a very different case would be that of the extinct species due to human stupidity.

This would be a controversial topic, one that sits on the borderline of ethical practices. If say all hurdles are overcome and this animal is brought back to life, would it be released into the wild or subjected to spend its life in captivity, of which if the latter is the case, then it begs the question, why was it brought back in the first place?!!
