May 31, 2020--Practice Blog in the time of the virus

Actually was a somewhat strange day. It is my 12th wedding anniversary to the most amazing wife ever. We went to church, but got a late start. This was not good as I hadn't learned the "anthem" for the service yet. I got two run-throughs on it before the service. Played the Pentacost service in my bright-red smoking jacket and ascot. It was live-streamed. Afterwards, my wife and I went out for Indian food. First time in a restaurant in two months. A bit surreal with both of us frantically trying to get our masks on whenever the waitress stopped by our table. Afterwards, we went to pick up some storage bins from Target and came home. Took a nap (it has been an emotionally exhausting three days) and have been lounging around the house watching old television shows (Andy Griffith, MASH, Columbo). We are going to put off officially celebrating this years anniversary until a later date when Covid-19 is less wide spread here and the protesting and rioting in the major cities dies down. Hopefully sooner rather than later. And that's all that I know.
