October 21, 2021--Andantino by Samuel Wesley

A nice little dance piece today by the English composer Samuel Wesley (yes related to Charles Wesley--his son). A friend of mine made me realize that I mostly record music from the European continent. So, I will be making a better effort to play more music from the US and England, Ireland, and the other parts of those isles. The Andantino is a simple binary form work. On the repeats, I did move from the Great registration I used (Principal and Bourdon 8', Nachthorn 4') to a slightly brighter Swell registration (Gedekt 8', Fugato 4', Blockflute 2'). Enjoy.
