I often admire the trailing cascade of leaves changing colour over the seasons. The door has seen better days so the shabby chic / distressed look is totally natural.

Our neighbour has that same creeper pretty much taking over their house. It's all over the roof and windows. We've been waiting for the house to disappear behind it but, sadly, he was out there yesterday cutting it back.
He said, even for him, it had gotten too dark inside and he wanted to clear the bit that was covering the street name.
It is still very beautiful though. As is your door! 😁
