It was the first dry, warm day after a very wet end of June and start to the new month of July.
Exactly one week ago on Thursday 2nd July, I decided to make an attempt to look for an ideal outdoor location to facilitate our new outdoor experience Shinrin-yoku.
I made a trip to Eglinton Country Park and done some filming for a new T.V. Series on LBRY.
I'll share a short video clip with you at the end of this post but first here are a couple of photos I snapped while I was there.
Shinrin-yoku is the Japanese term for: Forest Bathing or "Taking in the forest atmosphere".
I never managed to explore the park fully but I can tell you it has some really spectacular nature spots with unique features, Forest areas and a flowing river with bridges. A ruined Castle and a Cafe Visitor Centre. It was a fantastic adventure but I'd need to re visit again to explore it even further. I'll be including more information and content in the T.V. Series "Shinrin-yoku Forest Bathing Adventure Mystery Tour".
