In 2015 after years of no proofs the Perth Mint announced to mint another proof Kookaburra 1 ouncer for the event of the Berlin MOney Fair and the 25 year existence of Kook coins.
The news was hot on youtube and many non Europe Kookaburra collectors paniced as most coins were sold in Europe. I - via a German dealer - managed to get 10 of these proof coins and have since distributed some to youtube friends who missed out.
On Ebay they do 104 USD excl shipping where I paid 43 EUR each. Be aware that the coin did a lot more than 104 USD in 2015 and 2016 so it was a bit of a hype those days. You see this more often. I have a proof Britannia that went to 1200 EUR breifly and is now back to a few hundreds. I still HODL those.
