Hi friends,

So I quite possibly could’ve used a chaperon and an editor on Saturday night — or at least someone to tell me to put the phone away…
Well whatever, water and many cold beers under the bridge.

What I was trying to get at was a theme I have explored before. Namely: that the crypto market can (and frequently does) act like some kind of financial elixir for improving one’s stack. Now of course it is volotile as hell, and many people have lost big money either by getting hacked, paying too many eth fees 🤬🤬🤬
Perhaps fomo’ing into a coin at the top of its local cycle and then selling out when it crashes — Or, which leads to the most common error: not being able to just hold on (Particularly with bitcoin). Now today may be a crappy day to illustrate this as the broader crypto market (and metals) are tanking a bit. However, we recently had an ATH for bitcoin (last week) which means: that anyone EVER who had bought bitcoin, was in in profit! And this lovely scenario is sure to continue — although exactly when and how is notoriously hard to predict.

So what do you do? Well one way is to sell some off when everything is frothy and gorgeous and the general sentiment is that we are going to The Moon 🚀 non-stop! That’s exactly when you wanna’ cash in and grab up some dollars… and for what? Well to buy metal of course! Lol

…and then down days like today, for example, you can start buying back some of your former position. But of course everyone’s trading strategy is different. And, as I said above, you don’t even need to trade! Just buy and hold and explore some of the boomer return rates you can get in Defi:

Here’s Anchor.protocol via Terra (Luna) Mainnet:

19.4% compounding in real time is serious business. If you fail to see how this tech can and will disrupt current banking practices then I’m not sure what to tell you. Currently, as above, you can earn fat interest on your dollars, OR, you could buy Anchor tokens, stake them, and earn a yield in more Anchor tokens, all the while (if the project succeeds, etc.) and, the value of Anchor is going up.

Oh hell I don’t know! I’m not a financial advisor… and really, just a one-eyed drunk sailor with a wooden leg! So if I can do it — you can too 🏴‍☠️

Here’s what alchemy yields in the 21st Century

And for more fun, 2 ASEs type 1, and another dancing Springbok amidst some fantasy cars

The illustrations are from a Kidsbook called “Steam Train Dream Train” — but it just makes me think of buying more Vechain!!!

😜🤩🤑

Coming up is a piece I have wanted for a good long while. It is a $20 Canadian coin from 1967 — wowee!

The coin is 22k (91.6% Au) with a total gold content of 0.5284 oz

And finally, the ol’ dump pic (note: 2 cad quarters included to show how dull coin alloys look beside the real thing)

It was a great, great, day for motor car racing! …swapping out some crypto gains for cash, plundering the various locals and finishing off with several late night holliganisms!

Stack it like you mean it friends! When it’s gone it’s gone.
