thats good @dune69, are you using qt wallet I'm guessing? I haven't had any problems with mine since I updated to latest version, but previous versions were annoying I agree haha with syncing issues.... have you thought about using the web wallet instead? :)

I downloaded the new 1.1.0 ver but didn't realise you had to download the bootstrap file for the blockchain
I'm always a bit weary about web wallets although i've used my ether wallet with no problems
