Hello lovely Steemians !
When I visited California in the beginning of 2018 I could not withstand to visit the world famous Yosemite National Park.
Als ich Anfang des Jahres 2018 Kalifornien besucht habe, konnte ich nicht der Versuchung widerstehen den weltberühmten Yosemite Nationalpark zu besuchen.
Here you can see me sitting directly in front of the sign that states the boarder into the wilderness of Yosemite.
Hier könnt Ihr mich sehen wie ich direkt vor dem Schild sitze welches die Grenze zu Wildnis des Yosemite Parks markiert.
As you can see I am completely wet and tired. The reason is quite simple. It rained for a few days without a stop and it was very cold as there was a big storm running over the park that days. Also it was such long way to reach to there. You can see the watter flooded road with overthrown trees in the next pictures. They show the way that I took to the wilderness and to the of the mountains that you sea in the first two pictures.
Wie ihr wirklich gut erkennen könnt bin ich komplett durchnässt und verdammt müde und ausgelaugt. Der Grund dafür ist eigentlich recht simple. Zur Zeit meines Besuches hat es bereits mehrere Tage am Stück geregnet und es war wirklich verdammt kalt. Grund dafür war ein Sturm der während meiner Wanderung über dem gesamten Park wütete. Zudem war der Weg hoch in die Wildnis wirklich sehr lang. Ihr könnt auf den nächsten Bildern die Wasser überfluteten Wege sehen und all die umgestürzten Bäume die auf dem Weg liegen. Die nächsten Bilder zeige meinen Weg in die Wildnis und aud die Berge in den ersten beiden Bildern.
I really like adventures and to be worn out after a trip to the mountains, but the following part was kind of nerve wrecking. It was a gigantic puddle with lots of floating ice sheets and a frozen path that leaded directly down next to a rapid river .. I really enjoyed it, but my wife was kind of angry after she saw that pictures ;)
Ich bin ein wahrer Freund von Abenteuern die einen auslaugen, aber der folgende Teil war wirklich nervenaufreibend. Zum einen diese riesige Pfütze mit schwimmenden Eisschollen und zum anderen dieset gefrorene Weg den direkt an einem reißendem Fluss vorbei führte. Es hat wirklich sehr viel Spaß gemacht, aber meine Frau war etwas sauer auf mich als Sie diese Bilder gesehen hat ;)
But I was constantly recompensated with those lovely and unforgettable views.
Allerdings wurde ständig mit solch wunderschönen und unvergesslichen Aussichten belohnt.
Finally I could stant up my tent, only with an old aged sleeping bag, some apples, bread and nuts packed in by bagpack .. and a big bottle of booze against the freezing cold ;) .. I should not have shown this picture to my wife as well ^^
Letztendlich konnte ich dann mein Zelt aufbauen. Und das nur mit einem alten Schlafsack, einem Rucksack mit einigen Äpfeln, etwas Brot und ein paar Nüssen .. und natürlich einer Flasche Schnaps gegen diese schreckliche Kälte da oben ;) .. Ich hätte dieses Bild wohl auch besser nicht meiner Frau zeigen sollen ^^

Definitely a beautiful national park i visited there years ago but in the dry season it was really a adventure :)
If I go to California once more I really hope to see more of their national parks .. they all look soooo beautiful

No wonder your wife was a bit angry to see some of these pictures! Looks pretty extreme here and there, specially with the ice in the river and flooded path. Is your beard also a little frozen in some of those pictures? Ahaha. These are the best kind of adventures. They stay with us forever and I am glad you shared this one with us.
