Coordinated attack on Parler - Time to vote with dollars.

All free speech issues aside, what's happening to Parler from an economics standpoint is a coordinated effort among several multi-billion dollar tech companies coordinating to stomp out a start-up.

I thought that that was precisely the kind of stuff that socialists were supposed to hate.

So, if you're relishing in this because you perceive this as your ideological opponents finally being silenced, think about how it's happening. Also think about how your head is going to explode from cognitive dissonance the next time you open your gob to demand that we break up companies that are too big.

You are aware that this kind of market activity is only possible with an oligopoly, right? If we break up Amazon, Google, Apple, etc., there's no way they could gang up on Parler like this. So, which is it?

To be clear, I don't like government fixing it's own mistakes by dismantling huge companies. I think the correct way to handle this is to criticize the business practices and do our best to vote with our dollars.

For the people who are celebrating the coordinated corporate attack on Parler from a leftist perspective because your opponents are being shut up, you've got some real decisions to make in order to maintain any credibility.
