I came in at the very tail end of Hippy-dom. I loathe "boomer" labels. LOL!
I saw the late 50's and the 60's as a child. I experienced the '70's, '80's, '90's, 00's, 10's, and now... The ghastly 20's.
I am both cynical and hopeful. Cynical for seeing what the moneyed psychopaths in control on Our planet (by virtue of money) are doing to Humanity, and hopeful with the knowledge that I share everywhere I can that We can co-create vastly better than what those psychopaths are working towards.

Yeah babe, in my opinion it's almost impossible that the strongest, the wisest and the best prepared generation to live between two centuries of rapid changes haven't become into complete cynics these days, given everything we've already seen and had to adapt to in order to survive. But thank Goodness that you at least have had and maintained a noble purpose that has kept you hopeful and optimistic all these years, because otherwise we both would be living in loincloths with Diogenes inside his barrel today.
