Soya Bhurji Recipe!

Soya Bhurji is a highly proteinaceous, nutritive and yummy dish that can be prepared in less than 10 minutes/ Whenever I don’t feel like spending too much time in cooking, I prefer making soya bhurji. I sometimes also add ketchup to it to give it a tangy, snack like flavour.

Ingredients:

• Soya Chunks
• ½ TBSP Red Chilli Powder
• Dhaniya Powder
• Garam Masala
• Salt as per taste
• 1 Chopped Onion
• 1 Chopped Tomato
• 1 small bowl peas
• Grated ginger
• Chopped garlic
• 2 green chillis
• Oil for cooking

Method

Step 1: Soak the nutri chunks in water for about 15 minutes.

Step 2: Now chop the onionand tomato into small pieces. Grate the ginger separately and chop the green chillis and garlic too.

Step 3: Take oil in a pan and heat it. Now add the chopped onion and let them turn brown.Once they are brown,add adrak, garlicand green chillis. Saute well. Add tomatoes and peas and let them cook on slow flame.

Step 4: Add all the spices. Mix well and let it cook. Now add the soya chunks after straining out all the water and mix well. Keep stirring on medium flame till the soya chunks are completely mixed with the veggie mix.

Step 5: Empty the pan in a bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatis/paranthas.
