Hello Hive readers, I hope you are having nice day. Meanwhile I pray for the world situation get better, I'd like to share a moment of my happiness with you, my newest painting.
Admiro a las personas, en especial los artistas que publican en Hive, son tan constantes y se esfuerzan tanto que me gusta ver sus trabajos y su entusiasmo. Yo no me considero tan activa en esta plataforma como me gustaría, creo que de hecho en ninguna.
~ 𝓜𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓭𝓮 𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓼 ~
No me gustan las redes sociales, en especial instagram y failbuk; twitter es todo un punto aparte, pero lo pongo en el mismo saco.
Me han llegado solicitudes de trabajo para ser comunity manager, las rechazo porque no quiero nada que ver con las redes sociales comunes. Las uso porque si no estás en éstas, no existes, lo que me perjudica al empleo que quisiera optar.
A los que les funciona, me parece muy bien, pero a mí, siento que no me ayudan a mi salud mental en absoluto.
Volviendo a la ilustración, esta la hice en un intento de superar un bloqueo artístico. Siguiendo el consejo de una persona en el grupo de discord de Justin Gerard, me llegó la inspiración para retomar el dibujo y hacer una nueva ilustración ~ヾ(＾∇＾)
Lo que intenta decir esta persona es que trate cada dibujo como una práctica, y no como una pieza finalizada que debería ser perfecta. Que a veces hacer redraws nos ayuda a tener confianza en nosotros mismos otra vez porque según esta persona, es cómo manejar una carretera, mientras más familiar sea, es menos estresante de transitar; que lo mismo sucede con el arte, si ya conoces como es la batalla que enfrentaras, podrás repetirla nuevamente.
Estas palabras me sirvieron mucho de aliento para retomar el dibujo de nuevo y rehíce este dibujo que habia hecho en el 2013.
Se trata de una chica con un aspecto misterioso con un sweater de color fuerte que caminando hacia el centro de lo que parece un templo, se da la vuelta a ver al espectador con cara de que no la molestes. Intenté en lo posible terminar esta pieza a como la imaginé cuando la hice en su momento.

He dibujado sobre el bosquejo antiguo pero rehaciendo el esqueleto y las proporciones, lo mismo para el fondo, usé reglas de perspectiva que tenía muchas ganas de darle uso con el Clip Studio Paint.
Para definir los colores, usé una paleta gamut para que me ayude a armonizarlos mejor, esta idea la tomé de un video del canal de Youtube de James Gurney. Recomendadisimo 👍.
Intente fuertemente pintar sin presiones así que no sabia que resultado esperar. Aquí dejo un Gif compilatorio del proceso.

I admire people, especially the artists who post here on Hive, they are so consistent and put so much effort that I like to see their work and their enthusiasm. I don't consider myself as active on this platform as I would like to be, I don't think in fact on any of them.
I don't like social medias, especially instagram and failbuk; twitter is a whole separate topic, but I put it in the same bag.
I have received job applications to be community manager, I reject them because I don't want anything to do with common social medias. I use them because if you don't, basically you don't exist, which is terrible to the job I would like to apply for.
For those who find it suitable, I think it's great, but for me, I feel it doesn't help my metal health at all.
Coming back to the illustration, this one I did in an attempt to overcome an artistic block. Following the advice of a person in Justin Gerard's discord group, I got the inspiration to take up drawing again and make a new illustration.
This person was really self explanatory, there is no waste reading what she/he said.
These words were enough for me to inspire me to take drawing again, and I remade this drawing I did back in 2013.
It's about a mysterious looking girl in a brightly colored sweater walking towards the center of what looks like a temple, turning around to look at the viewer with a face of "don't bother me". I tried as much as possible to finish this piece as I imagined it when I made it at the time.
` Process ´
I have drawn over the old sketch but re-drawn the skeleton and proportions, the same for the background, I used perspective rulers that I really wanted to use with Clip Studio Paint.
To define the colors, I used a Gamut palette to help me harmonize them better; I took this idea from James Gurney's Youtube channel. Highly recommended 👍.
I tried really hard to paint without pressure so I didn't know what result to expect. Here is a Gif compilation of the process.
