La existencia en la tierra esta basada en la supervivencia, las conductas humanas nacen bajo ese parámetro, nuestras emociones (desde el miedo hasta el placer) existen para ayudarnos a ''sobrevivir'', aunque muchas veces le atribuyamos otro significado a nuestras emociones, es allí donde marcamos nuestra diferencia con otros animales.
Nuestra capacidad para razonar, dar significado, categorizar, identificar, nos hizo conscientes de nosotros, nuestro entorno y lo que hay mucho más allá (como en las estrellas). Eso nos hace sentir una especie superior, tenemos el ideal de habitar el espacio ''un nuevo planeta, un nuevo hogar'' , ¿por qué? como el resto de organismos busca la preservación de su especie.
Lo contradictorio en esto es que a pesar de todo el significado que encontramos, avanzar y hacernos tan ''cómodo'' el hecho de existir a diferencia de otras especies; el ser humano racional y ''superior'' no suele verse en nuestras sociedades; sobrevivir tomo un significado más oscuro, convirtiéndonos en nuestra propia presa.
Tambaleamos entre nuestra naturaleza animal y racional, cayendo en la irracionalidad, convirtiéndonos en el animal que lucha contra su propia mente, aún estamos lejos de ser ''el ser perfecto''; pero si tenemos las herramientas para ser más equilibrados de lo que hemos demostrado ser.
Existence on earth is based on survival, human behaviors are born under that parameter, our emotions (from fear to pleasure) exist to help us ''survive'', although many times we attribute another meaning to our emotions, it is there where we mark our difference with other animals.
Our ability to reason, to give meaning, to categorize, to identify, made us aware of ourselves, our environment and what is far beyond (as in the stars). That makes us feel a superior species, we have the ideal of inhabiting space ''a new planet, a new home'' , why? as the rest of organisms seek the preservation of their species.
The contradictory in this is that despite all the meaning we find, to advance and make us so ''comfortable'' the fact of existing unlike other species; the rational and ''superior'' human being is not usually seen in our societies; surviving took a darker meaning, turning us into our own prey.
We stagger between our animal and rational nature, falling into irrationality, becoming the animal that fights against its own mind, we are still far from being ''the perfect being''; but we do have the tools to be more balanced than we have proven to be.
