Entre las visitas imprescindibles de París, está subir al barrio de
Montmartre.
Este barrio que tiene una fisonomía propia, se encuentra en una colina junto a la famosa basílica del Sacre Cœur que está en la cumbre.
Cerca está la iglesia de Saint Pierre de Montmartre que es la mas antigua de la colina y que fue fundada en el siglo XII.
Ya que no podemos salir, estoy recordando antiguos viajes mientras miro y pinto fotografías antiguas. Siempre me ha gustado ir acompañado de la cámara y hago multitud de fotos cada en cada recorrido. Parece como si, inconscientemente, yo supiera que un día como el de ahora llegaría y las fotografías entonces recobrarían su sentido.
Rebuscando en el baúl de los recuerdos, encontré esta que hice hace mucho tiempo cuando visitamos París. La tomé desde la plaza du Tertre y desde ella se ven las cúpulas de ambas iglesias mencionadas.
Me gustó la foto por ser muy pintoresca y por ser totalmente típica de los barrios parisinos. Me pareció que esta imagen, con tanto colorido, me podría permitir hacer un juego de reflejos de colores entre las fachadas y los motivos.

Montmartre
Among the essential visits to Paris, is going up to the neighborhood of
Montmartre.
This neighborhood that has its own physiognomy, is located on a hill next to the famous Sacre Cœur basilica that is at the top.
Nearby is the church of Saint Pierre de Montmartre, which is the oldest on the hill and was founded in the 12th century.
Since we can't go out, I'm remembering old trips as I look and paint old photographs. I have always liked to be accompanied by the camera and I take many photos every time. It seems as if, unconsciously, I knew that a day like today would arrive and the photographs would then regain their meaning.
Searching through the trunk of memories, I found this one that I made a long time ago when we visited Paris. I took it from the Place du Tertre and from it you can see the domes of both mentioned churches.
I liked the photo for being very picturesque and for being totally typical of Parisian neighborhoods. It seemed to me that this image, with so much color, could allow me to make a game of colored reflections between the facades and the motifs.

Es increíble observar el proceso, como va tomando vida la imagen desde el comienzo y luego, al darle ese tenue tono de acuarela ve la luz. El lugar es maravilloso, tambien me trae hermosos recuerdos. Gracias por compartir @volcandemorcilla
