Time To Ditch The Alarm Again!

Since I no longer wake up after 4 hours of sleep, but after 6 instead, I seem to wake up naturally just before the alarm.

That might sounds like a good thing, but I can't perform any techniques right away. I still have to pick up my phone and turn off the alarm, so it wouldn't bother me.

When I wake up, I want to stay completely still. I think this way I can enter the vibrational stage and have a transition into a lucid dream.

This happened quite a few times before, so I don't see why it wouldn't happen again.

The thing is, if I don't use the alarm anymore, I'm not sure if I'm going to wake up. I woke up naturally for like 3 days now, just before the alarm, but I don't know if this will happen all the time.

It might stop happening any time.

Still, I decided that I will try to stop using the alarm and see what happens. If I fail to wake up naturally, I'll start using it again.

Now, whenever I wake up, I won't know the time, so that might be difficult. I will stay still if I manage to do it, and I will attempt to go lucid by entering the vibrational stage.

This might not work all the time, because when I wake up, sometimes I just forget about lucid dreaming and I start moving automatically.

Anyway, I haven't had a lucid dream for a very long time now, but I was really close a few days ago. And I got close by waking up and not moving, but my alarm went off after a couple of minutes and it ruined everything.

So, hopefully I will be able to have some lucid dreams this way!

Smoke Trees

This morning I had some pleasant dreams! Because I was smoking weed there :)

My dream memory begins when I was in a car with 2 friends. The driver was rolling a joint. He was done in a few minutes and we started smoking.

I felt relaxed!

Then, he started driving. We were going somewhere, but I can't remember where. After a short while of driving, we hit a road that's closed.

So, we had to go to a different way. We drove for bit and then we hit another road that's closed.

The driver said, "Oh... I know another way!"

After some time, we hit another closed road... But, it was the same road as the first time. He forgot that it was closed! I guess that's because of the weed, LOL.

Then, he started driving again... But, as you might guess... Another closed road. This was the same road as before! He was a bit pissed...

And the loop continued for a while. He kept going towards the same two closed roads and he would forget every time. This probably happened for around 8 times.

I found this situation quite funny...

But, somehow we managed to get out of this loop. We quickly got to a new place. It was a garage or something like that.

The guy rolled another joint. I asked for some weed, so I could smoke it when I come back home.

I don't remember if we smoked the joint, but he did give me some weed. Except... It was not much. I thought it's basically nothing.

When I got back home, I started rolling ant the quantity magically increased. There was a lot of weed! I was happy.

I rolled the joint and got into my bed. I started smoking it. In my bed... I wouldn't try that for real, haha.

Then I woke up.

Some dream interpretations

In my dream, I encountered roads that were closed multiple times. What could that possibly mean?

Road under construction: your life is under construction right now and this is a reminder to be gentle with yourself. Now is the time to allow for mistakes and understand that change is happening in your life and that it takes time. (Source)

Those roads were indeed closed because they were under construction. I was expecting an interpretation like this. That my life is under construction.

I would agree with this interpretation, but what does it mean that I encountered such roads so many times? Why was I stuck on a loop like that?

Could this possibly mean that I go through the same mistakes over and over again and the road is never fully constructed?

I always try to learn from my mistakes so I wouldn't repeat them, but there are a few things that I might be doing over and over again, and I never learn. Good interpretation!

Next, in my dream I was smoking weed. What could that possibly mean? here's what I've found:

To use marijuana or cannabis, or roll a joint in your dream, suggests that you are moving towards a positive spiritual experience.

The key message of this dream is that you need to make sure you have inner strength in order to survive in the future. (Source)

I was expecting that weed would possibly have some spiritual meanings and interpretations.

I guess I can't add anything to this. I'm always moving towards spiritual experiences, whether it's positive or negative. This way I'm able to become a better version of myself.

So, I'll be waiting for that positive experience!

I'm ending this post here. At the end of each post I'll include my first post (down below) about this journey as it explains why and how I'm doing this! (Full Post Here)

I Will Be Doing This Every Day!

The main reason I want to start lucid dreaming, is for self improvement.

I've been reading a lot about it and studies have shown that you can actually improve certain abilities by doing it in your dreams.

For example, if you wan't to learn a foreign language, you can practice it in your dreams. Since you're working with your subconscious mind while you're sleeping, you might find out that you know words that you were never aware of while conscious.

It's really all up to your creativity to what you wanna learn and improve upon in your dreams. Is it basketball that you want to become better at? You can do that!

Do you want to become a better fucker? Nobody is holding you back! Just make a nasty slut appear in front of you and do whatever you want with her!

Apparently while sleeping, the neural pathways engaged in the activity are strengthened, and not only imagined or visualized.

To achieve lucid dreaming, a lot of action has to be taken. Well... Some find it really easy to lucid dream, but most have to achieve it the hard way.

It's really important to think about lucid dreaming throughout the day. This way you're telling your subconscious mind that this is what you're focusing on and what you want, thus it gives you the access to control the dream world.

There are quite a few things I will be doing in order to achieve this goal!

  1. So, first of all, I will be posting my whole lucid dreaming journey here on Steemit every day.

  2. I will be writing down all of my dreams on a journal. A dream journal is basically essential if you want to achieve lucid dreaming.

  3. I will do at least 30-50 reality checks every day.

  4. Have a sleeping rhythm. That means I will be going to sleep at the same time every night. I'll also wake up at the same time every morning as well.

  5. I will also experiment with some techniques to induce lucid dreams.

  6. I won't look at any screens (computer, TV or even phone) 30-60 minutes before bed, because I've read that this helps a lot. For those 30-60 minutes I will be meditating.

  7. Talk, read and think about lucid dreaming constantly.

  8. Occasionally I will listen to lucid dreaming binaural beats and hypnosis.

  9. I will use an app called Awoken. This app is designed to help you achieve lucid dreaming. It reminds you to do reality checks throughout the day and it has a dream journal, which is where I will be writing down all my dreams when I wake up.

  10. I will experiment with the supplement called Dream Leaf, I already ordered it and I will use it when it arrives. I will take it only once or at most twice every week to see if it changes anything about my dreams and the ability to become lucid.

UPDATE: I do not recommend Dream Leaf, because it affected my dream recall negatively in the long run. But, I did have my first lucid dream because of it.

Tracking All My Progress!

So, like I've mentioned before, I will be tracking all my progress and I'll be posting about it every day here on Steemit.

Also, after I achieve lucid dreaming, I won't stop posting about my experiences for some time still.

When I achieve my goal, I will be writing down a lot of experiences that I have inside the dream world, and I'll experiment if it's actually possible to improve real life skills while sleeping.

I set a personal goal to achieve lucid dreaming within 30 days starting today. I'm really excited and hopefully I'll be able to do that even faster than 30 days!

This is not the first time I try to achieve lucid dreaming, but I never took it seriously and I was too inconsistent, so I never even came close to becoming lucid.

But this time I'm gonna SMASH it and record the whole journey on this blockchain!

UPDATE: I achieved lucid dreaming for the first time on day 12
