I was thinking these days to make the most of my Internet based activities getting me some rewards compared to the traditional tools which have it only for themselves. With this in mind I have looked over how I could use that in combination with crypto-currency and it seems there is on the market an application (browser) that fulfills this - BRAVE browser.
Brave browser rewards users (only if they opt-in) with BAT tokens for viewing Ads which are delivered through in browser alter pop-ups. You can disregard those or visit them which will get you rewarded with these tokens. But one trick on it is to navigate on trusted or verified sites. Going one step forward and considering I am a Splinterlands player I have took a chance and was pleasant surprised that the game is also a Brave Verified Creator. Not only that but through exchanges you can use the BAT tokens and convert them into DEC and buy some more great monsters.
That is a great tweak and best use of my time as:
- I am enjoying Splinterlands and getting me some DEC and nice daily prizes from it
- Playing the game, I am navigating the web, I am being active on Brave and getting BAT tokens
- Deposit BAT tokens on Binance Savings and get 3% interest rate

This is what I call a WIN-WIN situation!

I am still learning how to configure the BRAVE browser, because for me it is still a bit confusing. There was a day when I received 1 BAT because I was entering all the ads that the browser showed. Only today my balance is zero ...
When I click on details I see that I received 1 BAT for the ads but I don't even know where it went. As I understand it, payments are monthly and I must research better so that my earnings are better. The bad thing is that content that really explains this is only in English on YouTube and I don't understand much. But I'm trying to understand here and I found your post very interesting. You can redeem the BAT tokens once a month - next one is on 6th of July.
Your balance might get to 0 if you chosen to give all your tokens distributed on visited web sites. You can disable that from Rewards settings page.

That is quite good supporting sites with good content or services. I wonder if Splinterlands gets its BAT tokens from contributors or tipping.
I have opted in to give out BAT rewards to my favorite websites. Of course, I earn more BAT from ads than what I pay. However, on occasion I'll give an additional tip for websites that provided extra value.

Indeed one more way or layer on top to earn some crypto. And BAT tokens they quite have some value, Splinterlands good retrieve those from contributors and tipping and maybe make a tournament out of it. Just an idea to promote both the game and browser.
