Today we take a closer look at the Legendary Earth Splinter Card "Spirit of the Forest"
I really like her wrinkled outfit and her disheveled hair.
This beautiful young witch with her branch crown fits perfectly into the earth category.
With her tank heal, flying and protect ability she I also a glady chosen support for my earth team.
So I couldn't avoid making my own interpretation of the "Spirit of the Forest"
Lets stars with a look at the rough Illustration Process:
My first sketch i do is always very rough. It is only a rough guideline for me what shape and proportions my illustration will have.
then i work on a clean sketch with some more details. This two steps makes it easy to finish a clean and detailed lineart.
Adding some shadows then colours and voilà...

Mylor Crowling, the Earth summoner from the new DICE set.
He looks really boring but is one of the best summoners in the game, with his Thorns ability. I think he needs a complete re-design, that fits his thornyness. ;-)
