Have to be smashing the Pizza with Grund on this Social Medial Challenge!

I hope everyone is doing well, the weather is still nice, so let’s gets this trending on social media so that people have a break for the craziness! Please follow me on twitter and retweet! @DrKqaos If you are not playing Splinterlands yet, click on any of the battles or the link towards the bottom, would love to have you! You can also follow the updates with the official Splinterlands account @splinterlands on Twitter.

So, let’s look at SPS which is currently trending at $0.069, a jump preparing for the Riftwatchers expansion! I still think it is a good time to buy, especially getting into some more tourneys to earn more SPS. Speaking of that, there are 101,569 packs to go until the next airdrop, really close to the next summoner!

Since I have been looking at cards a little bit more, the lore really pops, and this one, has gladiators within the brawl, one of my favorite!

The Lore behind Chimney by Splinterlands:
They say that smoking is bad for your health, but so is facing off against Chimney Wallstop in single Gladiator arena combat. When he is not fighting, he is rarely seen without a smoking pipe in his hand and a smile on his face. Before embarking on his Moxian journey to become a professional Gladiator, Wallstop lived alone in one of the slums of Azad, the largest city in the Burning Lands. He scraped a living as a trapper, collecting, crafting and selling wares from the creatures he obtained in the open Ashlands, especially the radiated land near Mitreyya’s Hand. This treacherous rocky land has been Chimney’s home since he was a boy, when he migrated to the Burning Lands from Anumün by stowing away on a goblin ship. This alone was an incredible accomplishment because goblins are especially vigilant (and severe in punishment) for stowaways. Wallstop has never looked back from his decision to leave his green and lush homeland for the desolate waste of the Burning Lands. He is far more comfortable fighting to survive. As he says: “The world is always trying to kill you. Why let it be sneaky about the effort?”

The burly, bearded man has been nicknamed Chimney so long that he may not even remember his given name. His surname of Wallstop may also be a nickname born of his incredible sturdiness and size, but it is difficult to say for sure. To Chimney, these matters are of no concern. His favorite thing is to sit around a fire all night laughing among friends, smoking his pipeweed like a chimney. The fire inside him is his thirst for adventure, and in recent years it has been smoldering rather than raging. He needs new stories and new adventures, which is why he has decided to travel to Praetoria and join the Gladiators’ camp. His weapon is a large hammer handcrafted by his mentor, a famous but retired kobold blacksmith by the name of Hugo Steppor. The hammer is light and easy for Chimney to swing. On one end is a blunt head for smashing, and on the other is a golden spearhead for goring.

On to the battle, the guild as a whole filled 13 out of 16 frays for this one, slowing filling more. I am changing things up this time, I am Novice Chaos Legion Only. Eight fights this time fights, so not too bad, but it is always a good time with the Pizza fam!

Battle #1 (Link)
Beginning this fight, I am in the enemy arena, travel is never fun, but better when someone takes the trip with you, so I dragged a few people from the tavern with me, to go to a postapocalyptic arena. Looking at 12 mana, fire and dragon only. Summoners do not provide a boost and knockout is out there. So, I went fire on this one, but I went with low mana count so that I can have 5 people in my lineup. However, those misses just killed me on this one.

Battle #2 (Link)
This is the first home game so the strategy meeting with @theacks is necessary, usually it works out well for me. 25 mana and stampede. I am going for the double opportunity water setup, hopefully it will go well for me. They went water as well, that extra armor helps out. RNG just was not in my favor this time around.

Battle #3(Link)
Still looking in the home arena with this one. Only with 99 mana, no healing and slow. I decided to go fire on this one for the slow factor, and the heavy hitters, hoping I can do a good amount of damage. They went light on this one, captain katie could be a problem. However, I think they forgot the ruleset, the reverse speed caused me to win this one along with them playing the time mage to slow me down which actually sped me up!

Battle #4 (Link)
This one I leave town again, looking at 48 mana, divine shield and no earth. I decided to go light on this one to get that ranged damage going. They decided to go water on this one, there is a lot off damage on that end as well. It just did not work out for me, their opportunity strikes killed me.

Battle #5 (Link)
Not doing the greatest at this point in time, so coming home with my tail between my legs. 38 mana, no ranged, true strike, and only light and dragon, interesting. So I went light, but using Sola for the heal and then the scavo hireling for the armor repair. They have captain katie, so I am sure I lost this without even looking at the fight.

Battle #6 (Link)
On the road again with this one, really wishing I was in Bronze league… 32 mana, earth quake, and true strike, so we will always be hitting! I am going earth on this one, mostly because I have a flying creature, but hoping that the double attack from the gladiator will do some damage to the backline as well. They went earth as well, so this could go bad for me quite easily. However, I had just slight win, one hit point, but it is still a win!

Battle #7 (Link)
This one is in the home arena again, so hopefully it will go in my favor. Looking at reverse speed, poison and 27 mana. I went water on this one, hoping that I can stay alive long enough to knock them out! And it did not work out for me, that magic damage just tore through me.

Battle #8 (Link)
Last fight, thankfully, so far this has completely sucked for me. Away with 36 mana, divine shield and fog of war, so no sneak, no snipe. The good part is, nobody said anything about opportunity attack, so I went with water. My opportunity was better than theirs, it took off for the win!

I am not happy with this one, sitting at 2 and 4, so the best that I can do is 50-50. The guild is sitting in 8th place, this is not a good time for us as well.

I ended up 3 and 5, not a great showing, same can be said for the guild in this one as well, 35 and 62, landing us in 8th place.

I get to open another gladius pack, nothing special here:
