Have you ever thought about using a strategy that can do damage to multiple units at once? How much does multiple benefitting rule sets can make a difference? Could using a unit with Double Strike be strong with both Aimless and Explosive Weaponry rule sets?
Combining Scattershot and Blast with Pelacor Arbalest makes this strategy super effective. The randomness of Scattershot helps bypass enemy defenses and Blast spreads the damage further. It's a great way to kill your opponent's backline and your enemies can't do anything about it until they kill your own Pelacor Arbalest.
Let's talk about… Pelacor Arbalest

At $3.70, Pelacor Arbalest is priced at a decent price. He is strong on his own and stronger if you build around him. If you have a way to defend him like Iziar, Pelacor Arbalest can carry your games with his Double Strike and high damage.
At 15 DEC per day, Pelacor Arbalest is a must for any Life builds. Life element has a lot of cheap but strong units and Pelacor Arbalest is one of them. He is a must have especially if you have a max level General Sloan as your summoner.

All units gain True Strike (attacks will never miss). This rule set is great because of Pelacor Arbalest's range attack, Double Strike and high damage. His attacks will never miss, making him hit hard every turn.  |
Non-flying Units take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round. Flying ability is a direct counter to Earthquake rule set. This allows your unit to not take damage from Earthquake each round.  |
All units have Thorns (returns 2 damage to attacker when hit by a melee attack) Briar Patch Rule sets remove a lot of Sneak options in the game which helps keep Pelacor Arbalest safe.  |
| Avoid using it in... |
All Units have Return Fire (returns 50% of ranged damage to attacker, rounded up). This rule set works against Pelacor Arbalest because he has range attack and Double Strike, making him take damage twice from Fire & Regret.  |
Units with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. Not a good fit for Pelacor Arbalest because high speed can make him miss attacks. In a rule set that punishes fast units, he struggles to land his hits.  |
All Units start the battle Poisoned. Pelacor Arbalest dies in 3 turns because he has only 5 health and can't survive the poison damage long enough.  |

Battle Strat: Pelacor Arbalest with Scattershot from the Aimless rule set combined with Blast from Explosive Weaponry is a great strategy because it highlights his Double Strike ability. With Scattershot, his attacks randomly target different enemies, making it harder for opponents to protect key units like units with Tank Heal. Add Blast to the mix and each of his two hits not only damages the primary target but also deals damage to enemies beside the main target. This combo allows him to spread damage across the board hitting multiple enemies at once.
Battle Summary: Even though the enemy has units that has Reflection Shield, it doesn't mean they cannot be damaged. They can only negate the effect of Blast. Since my enemy's attack only focuses on the front except for Adelade Brightwing, my range and magic units has no threats. Slowly but surely, their units got eliminated one by one especially with Pelacor Arbalest doing most of the damage.
