What is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a Play2Earn game, where you can play battle against other players to get a better rank or in tournaments. It is a NFT game based on Hive Blockchain, with multiple ways to capitalise and make money, real money, by playing it or trading in it. You can start earning as soon as you buy a Spellbook ($10) getting SPS tokens and NFT monster cards via daily quests and season quests (every 2 weeks). Sometimes you may even win a 5 cards packs with your rewards. You can also get rewards from staking the SPS you got from rewards, or by owning a node licence (4 Vouchers and 22 SPS daily this week), or from owning Nightmare packs (the Tower Defence game) or Land NFTs. Bonus, if you stake SPS, starting from October, for a whole year, you will receive daily GLS tokens airdropped to use on the Genesis League game, which can be laso staked now for extra rewards.
Right now you can still buy the Runi NFT from Opensea, and NFT packs from Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers collections. An awesome hint from a really good player (not me), if you open your packs after the Legendary summoners are introduced, you have a small chance to get them from the packs.
The Dhampir Stalker is one of the new Chaos Legion cards, a Rare Death Splinter unit, with 5 Ranged attack, 4 Speed and 7 Health, for a 7 Mana cost, at max level 8. It will never miss, due to his True Strike ability, from level 1, gaining Deathblow skill at level 5 (double damage on the last monster alive in the opponent team). This card is expensive, but useful for sume rulesets like the ones with Magic Reflect for all or no Magic users allowed. I am not using it very often, as there are better cards costing less mana.

So, for the challenge, this were the starting conditions:

Rulesets: Standard battle - no Rulesets
Teams:
Mine - Summoner: Thadius, decreasing the opponent Speed and Health by -1, with Cursed Windeku as main tank using Thorns to reflect back some melee damage, Cursed Slimeball as Plan B, to absorb some damage, 2 ranged attackers, Soul Strangler and Dhampir Stalker with True Strike, and last, but not least, Crypt Beetle using Shield to defend from some eventual cards with Sneak.
Opponent - Summoner: Wizard of Eastwood, decreasing my Armor by -2, Mycelic Morphoid to deflect some hits, and main tank, Mycelic Infantry, with Shield to reduce damage from melee and ranged attackers.
Round 1 - The Morphoid died, some hits were exchanged.
Round 2 - The Mycelic Infantry survived to my offensive.
Round 3 - The Mycelic Infantry died, and I have won with no loss. This was easy.
Star of the game - The Windeku, doing some damage both attacking and defending, thanks to its Thorns.
