Hello Again!! everyone and welcome to my new post on My share your battle challenge using Mycelic Infantry this weeks monster card theme, this post is going to cover information about this Earth monster card,and a battle play-out using this monster card, my honest opinion on this monster card. I am really intrigued to be trying out battling with this monster because i haven't tried it before, so read along to find out below.
Mycelic Infantry
Mycelic Infantry a monster card of the earth element and among a chaos of legion card, it features a behemoth fungus. which rather sound unpleasant as nature would imply. It describes a slow and weird organism just like fungus is described on the internet, when i take into context. Unlike real "fungus" they are slow to react but boy are they real tough in Splinterlands . Among the other Earth element monster cards the Mycelic Infantry is a card that operates well on the front-line as tanks. Now we are going to discuss battle play-out in details using the Mycelic Infantry monster card considering card statistics,perks and ability .

Card Ability- 3 power Shield at level 1

THE BATTLE WITH MYCELIC INFANTRY
Rule set for battle- No standard modification
Battle mana cap- 13
Battle Element- Death Vs Earth
Teams Positioning/ strategy
- Summoner Obisidan was chosen to was chosen for this battle with plus 1 magic attack giving extra magic attack to all monster in battles.
- Mycelic infantry coming in next in tank position.it shield ability comes in handy when battling monster teams with strong ranged or melee attacking monster cards to help protect and stall attacking.
- becuase of this was a 13 mana cap battle i was left no choice but to pick mycelic morphoid with mana cap of 1, health of 2 , 1 melle attack perk and speed of 1 as the next monster to see battle play-out.

Round 1
Opponent tank monster deals attack on Mycelic Infantry breaking Shield to 2.
Opponent 2nd position monster deals attack Mycelic morphoid in last position eliminating instantly.
Round 2
Round 2 starts of with tank completely taking out Mycelic Infantry shield.
Round 3
- In round 2nd position monster misses attack at mycelic Infantry
- Mycelic Infantry deals attack on opponents tank reducing health to 3.
Round 4
These round feature a back and forth attack ending with Mycelic Infantry eliminatng opponents tank.
Round 5
opponents monster in 3rd position misses shot at tank "Mycelic Infantry" following a second shot missed,round 5 ends with Mycelic monster eliminating 3rd position monster in opposing team.
Round 6
RESULT!!
i eventually won the battle which was shocking as this was a battle with only 2 team monster on my team which where 2 monster i have never given that it was a 13 man cap battle.
In round 6 last monster on opponents team gets eliminated from last attack from Mycelic Infantry.
My Final Thoughts and opinion?
Experience with using this card-
In my opinion this card is not a popular card to be used considering the high mana cost, playing with this card in other positions on the lineup puts you at disadvantage especially in low mana cap battle so the best position to play with this card is in the tank position. I tried experimenting with Mycelic infantry card in 3rd position in other battles but lost the battle repeatedly, but i would honestly like you to say that this card has a lot of potential especially as a defending monster card because it really dosen't attack effectively and would do a great job to help or assist in a battles depending on two main things the mana cap of battle and strategy of other card placement with it.
