I tried fighting in Gold rank this season and my win rate obviously tanked. I don't regret it because I didn't exactly have as much time.

Compared to my ratio of 3 or 4 from the previous season, the 1.58 looks fairly bad. I think some of it was probably because I was just attempting to do my daily quests and things like sneak quests kill my ratio.

I am surprised my top three are so close in terms of frequency. I tend to prefer using Daria but sometimes those quests just don't allow for it. As you can see, Wizard of Eastwood and Daria had a win rate of 50% or so compared to my usual 70%+ in Silver.

Chicken comes in at the top even though I sometimes forget to place him in. I wasn't expecting Living Lava to be 2nd though as I tend to use my Earth deck more often. I guess my lucky card this season would be Spark Pixies since I used her 10 times and I won every single fight with her.

The ratios this season are bad. I only had 2 standard fights and both were losses. Then I also have Armored up and Broken Arrows in the 22-23% range. My best rule set this season was Lost Magic and I kind of believe it since my magic cards are lacking.

I was disappointed to see my rewards this season since I didn't even get a single gold foil, epic or legendary card. There was also no pack but my season rewards at least did not disappoint me too much since I got a four digit DEC drop.
Well my report this season was fairly bad. I had a gold foil epic leased out which knocked down my rank for a few days (one less chest) and my earnings were probably only half of what it was when I was in Silver. I wonder if it is just luck or not so I will of course give Gold another try. I'll probably only do enough daily quests for the daily quest but I may do more fights depending on my free time.

So you'd usually try trying in Silver until late season, then advance for the season rewards?
I'm not really sure whether I like the Sneak and Snipe quests. They're good for variety but they are a different challenge..
Yes if I have time then fighting in Silver to burn down my dark energy capture rate is better. My win ratio there is like 3 or 4 so I am more likely to win about 75-80% of my fights. But if I go to gold rank, I end up losing quite a bit more so the extra 2 chests doesn't seem worth the DEC lost through fighting rank battles. I just find it easier as my cards are not yet leveled enough to take advantage of Gold's increased level caps.
