I guess I was spoiled the previous Season as the longer time allowed me to get more chests in addition to get to a higher Division. The shorter Season this time was a struggle as the competitive nature of the gameplay continues to increase as the meta evolves and new players join the Fray. Overall, I think it is an encouraging sign for the ecosystem given the continued adjustments made by the development team.

It was interesting to see how my performance flipped multiple times this Season. I started very well in Modern but struggled in Wild early on only to feel the reverse at the end of the Season. I think the starting points are what will remain a challenge as I continue to focus on getting into Champion earlier in the Season for the benefits of the chests.

I feel like this Season was disappointing for rewards in general but for different reasons than I am hearing around the community. I absolutely love getting Merits and multiple potions now as rewards. However, my luck has definitely been lackluster on Epics and Legendaries as of late. It has made me go and buy them off the market instead!

No more AirDrops so just adjusting to the new realities and seeking ways to strategically continue to accumulate SPS. I am below where I wanted to be with some higher targets in sight given the recent announcements which have me excited for the future. However, with some spending of SPS on the horizon, I am thinking that the goal may be too aggressive.
It continues to be a crazy but exciting ride within the Splinterlands ecosystem as I adjust between player and investor. I continue to enjoy being a part of every part of the system whether it adds to frustration or not. I think the development process of it all has many of us on our toes to find ways to optimize our views of the future which continues to be encouraging. While we have detractors, I feel that every good project has them and they are also part of adapting and improving it in the long run.
