What is Predictev?
Predictev is a decentralized media platform for sharing predictions and analysis, starting with sports. It features native cryptocurrency rewards for accuracy and crowd approval, but without loss of capital for inaccuracy. By combining powerful components of social networks, prediction markets, and blockchain technology, Predictev incentivizes users to share their predictions and helps identify the smartest experts on the internet.
Mainnet News + Updated Whitepaper
The Predictev team is excited to announce that our mainnet launch is almost here! In anticipation of that milestone, we’ve published an updated version of our whitepaper that has more details about the Predictev system and tech stack. You can access a copy of it here. We also posted an announcement on BitcoinTalk - for those of you with accounts there, we’d appreciate your support!
Block Producer Candidates
As part of our mainnet push, we are seeking members of the community that are interested in becoming block producer candidates. Predictev utilizes the same DPoS blockchain technology that Steem runs on, so knowledge of Steem’s block producer requirements translates to Predictev. If you’re interested in becoming a block producer candidate, please email [email protected] with any questions.
In-Game Prediction Products
Predictev originally launched with a demo focused on in-depth pre-game analysis in a blogging format. We’ve now added support for live, in-game predictions as well! Our first in-game prediction product is a web app available at https://testnet.predictev.com. Please come test it out and send us feedback at [email protected]! We’ll also soon be launching a Discord chatbot to support in-game predictions. Upon creating a Predictev account and linking it to their Discord account, users will be able to commit transactions to the Predictev blockchain without leaving the confines of their favored chat platform.
