Right before arsenal played against Frankfurt in the Europa League, Arsenal management warned Emere that any defeat during the week/weekend will lead to his dismissal.
The management kept their word and sacked him after he lost 2-1 to Frankfurt in the Europa cup group match. Unai Emery took over from Arsene Wenger in the summer of 2018 and has since then played 51 premier league matches, which he won 25, drew 13, and lost 13. Just last week, Pochettino was sacked from Tottenham, and now, its Emere's turn. Who is next?
There has been a lot of grumble on Manchester united coach (Solksjear's) performance. Will it get to him? Arsenal has not named any successor, but Arsenal U23 coach, Freddie Ljungberg was chosen as the interim coach till the final decision is made on choosing the next Arsenal coach. Emere left Arsenal in the 8th position on the table.
He was given enough time to set things right, but he could not get things to work well. The Arsenal management wished him and his coaching crew well as they embark on a new journey in their coaching career. Emere is out of Emirate.
