Pochettino left a good legacy at Tottenham before he was sacked. He successfully finished at the top 4 during his four seasons at White heart Lane and took them to the Champions League final. He was indeed an outstanding Coach. His performance proved it. After he was sacked this season due to his poor performances, Arsenal thought of replacing him with Unai Emery. Arsenal has not been consistent in the league as well. They are in the 8th position, just a point away from Manchester United.

If Pochettino takes over, can he handle the situation without getting sacked like he was at Tottenham? He just left the premier league and it would be disappointing to take up a job at Arsenal just after he left White Hart Lane.

‘If I was a decision-maker at Arsenal, I’d go for Mauricio Pochettino in a heartbeat,’ the former Tottenham and England star told the Daily Mail. ‘I’m not sure I believe Poch would let his time with Tottenham stop him from taking over. ‘Maybe the reason Spurs decided to go for Jose Mourinho so suddenly was they felt they could not hang around, because their north London rivals might be searching for a new boss soon.

He also emphasized that he doesn’t think Pochettino would allow his recent encounter with Tottenham to stops him from taking over from Unai Emery if the chance is open. The Arsenal Manager is facing a hard time at Emirate at the moment. He was booed off on Saturday after their 2-2 draw with Southampton. For now, we are not sure of what might happen, but Emere’s job is at stake if he refuses to improve. His continuous failure might pave a way for Pochettino, but will he take up the mantle? We will keep up with the news as the season moves. Thanks for reading.
