Leicester City returns back to the top of the EPL League after a 2 nil win over Chelsea FC a the King Power Stadium in the Mid-week fixture.

The host went in front in the 8th minutes of the game when Nigeria and Leicester Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi score with a bullet before James Maddison 41minutes goal from Marc Albrighton's long ball past Chelsea's goalkeeper.
Chelsea route back into the game when referee Craig Pawson adjudged Jonny Evans to have fouled Christian Pulisic inside the penalty area. only to be ruled out by VAR to overturn the decision, as the visitors were awarded a free-kick right on the edge.
Chelsea's error marking again continued just after half-time and the unmarked James Justin should have made it three, but only to have headed the ball to hit the side netting.
Marc Albrighton added another, but the goal was correctly ruled out by the offside flag.
One win in five in the league for Frank Lampard and Chelsea, who stay eighth after a lackluster display at the King Power Stadium.
