Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has been outraged by his question about his position on signing Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar, despite the end of the summer transfer window.
"Are we going to continue to talk about Neymar before, during and even after Mercato? We have to turn that page," Valverde said when asked about the Brazilian at the pre-Valencia press conference.
Valverde praised Valencia as a strong opponent, and that facing them will resemble the confrontations of the last season (which saw Valencia beat Barcelona in the final of the King's Cup of Spain) and stressed that the change in the level of technical leadership will not reduce Valencia.
Barcelona began their new season modestly, finishing eighth in the table with four points, while Valencia are in tenth place with the same score.
