Everton under Rafael benitez

It's been a wonderful start for Everton under their new boss Rafa Benitez after the Spanish manager took the job with the departure of Carlo Ancelloti to Real Madrid.

Everton are unbeaten in their four matches played so far in the premier league winning three then draw against Leeds in their previous game so far.

The merseyside blues have 10points so far and also fourth on the premier league table equalling points with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool so far.

The manager who is the first to manage both Liverpool and Everton have shown a good start so far for the club.

Andros Townsend scored a sensational long-range strike as Everton extended their unbeaten campaign to the new Premier League season with a 3-1 victory over Burnley having coming from a goal down to win the game.

Everton were without their last season top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin who was not among the squad against Burnley in Monday's match.

The visitors were a goal up in the beginning of the second half after Ben Mee gave the away side the lead in the 53rd minute before Micheal keane equalize for the home team in the 60th minutes.

Townsend scored a goal which is likely to be a goal of the season contender after 27 seconds of demarai gray goal putting the home team ahead, scored a fantastic goal to make it 3-1.

Though Burnley saw a late consolation goal been ruled out despite a VAR review.

For a second straight season for the meyserside they have taken ten or more points from the opening quartet with the ambition of reinforcing their European ambitions under yet another new manager.
