Hi Guys! It's me again masterzarlyn28 in the hive! For today's blog let's talk about Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge! Since I was unable to complete this blog the prior time, I must utilize Magi of Chaos this time since I do not have a temopral Master battle. We'll discuss this gigantic card monster's stats, the battle's regulations, how my team and the opposition line up, and finally, my winning plan. By the way, I used my alternate account for this battle.

~~~ MAGI OF CHAOS LORE ~~~

The Magi of the Chaosium are the heralds of the Legion itself. For hundreds of years they met and studied in secret, gathering ancient artifacts and scraps of forbidden knowledge, much that was once thought lost. ~~~ MAGI OF CHAOS STATS ~~~

(NOVICE TO BRONZE LEAGUE)
Level 1 to 2 : As the level increases the stats also increases which add up a health power. For a 6 mana card monster, basic stat is 2 magic damage and speed then a 5 health power.

(SILVER TO GOLD LEAGUE)
Level 3 to 5 : At level 3 additional 1 magic damage and for the 5th level it now have an ability which is Oppress which does double damage on monster with no attack and additional speed total of 7.

(GOLD TO CHAMPION LEAGUE)
Level 6 : It reaches to 4 Magic damage, 2 speed and 7 health power!

Magi of Chaos is a epic monster card under chaos edition and belongs to Neutral Element group. It is a very useful monster when it comes to mid to high mana cap battle since it has a 6 mana and a must monster when it comes to exploits focus. Its ability can double the damage on monster with no attack such as Baakjira, Almo, Lord Arianthus and Gelatinous Cube.

🚦THE RULE SET 🚦

MANA CAP: 44
ELEMENTS: All Element except Life and Death

All Monsters have the Enrage ability.
Increase Melee attack and Speed when damaged. Values are multiplied by 1.5 and rounded up. Prefer Melee monsters with Sneak, Opportunity in the back row.


Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.

You can use high HP or high speed Ranged monsters at position 2 (or even at position 1 if it has Heal). Choose summoners that give a bonus to Ranged attack or to speed and then choose high damage Ranged attack monsters. Beware of the possibility that your opponent might pick Lir Deepswimmer as summoner or monsters with Return Fire. High HP and Heal is the way to go in this ruleset.

⚔️ MY TEAM ⚔️

I utilized Lir Deepswimmer as the summoner (7 mana summoner) for the closed range ruleset, adding 2 armor, return fire, and blind. Then, I choose a Baakjira as a tank, one healer, one ranged monster in the back, and a lot of cards with magic damage. A card was added that has an oppression, resurrect, and a heal for the tank without an attack. Since it will benefit from the close-range rule set, Lir as summoner will be essential in this battle.

⚔️ OPPONENT'S TEAM ⚔️

OpponentThe team decided on Kelya a water elemental summoner and a monster with only one ranged, melee, and magic attack. The opposition also employs Baakjira as a tank in addition to monsters with reach, opportunity, double strike, and oppress. As you can see, he acquired a monster with exceptional speed and damage, particularly the Deeplurker, by taking advantage of the rules.

⚔️ CARD POSITION ⚔️

FIRST POSITION

With four abilities at level 3, including void, slow, strengthen, and heal, Baakjira makes a good tank. Baakjira is a fantastic card with 2 speed and an amazing health power of 13, even if it lacks an attack. It does a good job because it slows down all hostile monsters while boosting the health of friendly ones. During combat, it repairs itself and lessens magic damage.

SECOND POSITION

Another void monster has an astounding speed of 5, which is sufficient to avoid enemy attacks, and another thing is that it uses magic strikes that miss monster hits due to its Phase ability..

THIRD POSITION

This monster has the ability to heal the tank and replenish armor. Although it lacks attack, it is a very useful card that serves as the team's doctor.

FOURTH POSITION

Here is our main character on this blog, Magi of Chaos. A monster that does double damage when attacking a monster which does not have attacks. T

FIFTH POSITION

The resurrect monster, which revives a monster that has died on the battlefield, is at the second-to-last position. aA magical monster with increased melee damage and the ability to reverse favorable status effects on hostile monsters.

LAST POSITION

Lastly a good monster which heal itself with an incredible speed, damage and health power at 5 mana! It can also dodge attack of sneak and opportunity monster.

⚔️ BATTLE ⚔️

At round 1, Axemaster got severely damage from the no attack monster because of the return fire ability coming from Lir. Thanks to our doctor, merdaali guardian, Baakjira health was restored and can able to received attacks coming from the enemy.

Baakjira was killed by the 5-melee-damage-monster but was able to born again by River Helondale but died again and killed off by the Magi Chaos. On the next round, Djinn Oshannus will now take the lead and will revenge on the enemy.

As the rumble continues, feel the revenge of Oshannus as he returns the damage dealt by axemaster. Magi Chaos continue to attack Baakjira and was able to give double damage on this no attack monster.

Magi finally finished off Baakjira! Now, reach monster has taken the lead and will received damages from the magic monster. Merdaali Guardian help its damaged friendly monster and because of that they were able to fight and kill the enemy.

MOnsters continue to give and take damages, some attack were missed out because of the high speed as the monster enrages.

Merdaali keeps on restoring and healing its friendly monster, this will be a big help to sustain the damage from magic and melee monsters.

Finally, Oshannus has been killed and the only monster left was Deeplurker and Magi of Chaos but they cant even hit a damage to Oshannus!

Deeplurker has left the battle, Magi Chaos was the only monster left in the battle but was killed of at Round 15

Did your strategy work?

Yes, my strategy worked because of the coordination of the monster. A monster which focuses mainly on a no attack monster but has a lot of abilities, one is a doctor which restores the health and armor of the damage monster, one that is a good tank which able to reduce magic damage and was able to stood up and defend its friendly monster, and another that helps to brings back his departed friend and also the once who keeps on thriving even he also got a missed damaged. All together, they were able to wipe out the enemy.

What will you try differently next time?

Next time, I will try a full Magic Combo and a 2 resurrect monsters, Baakjira still the tank but back up with healing, restore and resurrect monster for him to be able to deal the damage made by the opponent.
