Splinterlands in 3D
Currently Splinterlands is a 2D game, and all of the artwork is 2 dimensional, but what if we were able to play our NFTs in 3D games?
We already have land coming, which will add a new layer to the game with items and spells!
The land is said to be a completely new expansion of the game, and is considered an all new game in itself!
Now what if we were able to have 3D renderings of our NFT cards?
These could not only be useful for our Praetorian land plots, but it would be beneficial in use for games outside of Splinterlands!
Just like how we currently have bridges to other blockchains...
And like exporting our cards to WAX (or even something like Rplanet) we would be able export our NFTs into these other NFT/Blockchain games!
What about the Future?
Let's talk about VR...
Right now VR is getting extremely popular, and with VR headset prices becoming more affordable, more people are starting to pour into big VR communities like VRchat, Rec Room, and others!
Not only could this give a more immersive experience for our NFTs and ourselves, but by building the foundation and bridges now in these 2D/3D platforms, we will be able to expand and grow with technology!
And just like with bridges to other blockchains... we can create portals to other blockchain worlds!
This would allow us to "transfer" our NFTs from one blockchain to the other into whichever dimension is needed in that multiverse.
Conclusion
At this point we already have our NFTs, and the technology already exists to start creating these partnerships.
The blockchain projects that THRIVE are the ones that work together and help to make everyone better!
This seems like an inevitable outcome sooner or later, but if we want to stay ahead of the game, we need to work with the best projects to give everyone the most that they can get from their NFTs!!
