The saying that two heads is better than one: has a lot meaning to the ongoing situation on steemit inc where majority of the power of steem reside. And of course if anything should happen to such stake then the blockchain is at risk which won't be good for all the parties involved. 
Yesterday, I was privileged to listen the the meeting the witnesses and the suppose owner, Justinsun, of steem had. The meeting which was earlier schedule to hold on 6 of March was court short and held yesterday, the reason for this couldn't be far fetched as the witnesses had earlier installed soft fork through their power, community support, which prevent @justinsun the suppose owner of steemit from touching what he claim to be his properties which he had said bought with his own hard-earn money. So he counter attached back by partnering or colluded with three powerful exchanges chain to gain a majority vote and instate a new governance through he voted witnesses one of them is binance, popular cryptocurrency trading platform.
Justinsun earlier in his tweet had called the community witness 'hackers' which was dealt with by him when he successful installed his witnesses through the help of aforementioned exchanges chain. The meeting was about reaching a consensus like a win win scenario, but that couldn't happen as Justinsun was just mentioning the property he bought, steemit, and claim he didn't have any arrangements with Ned concerning the community.
How can we trust someone we never know?
In reality, it is difficult to trust someone you never know personally or you have someone that know the person. I think that is the case of yesterday meeting or conversation if I may call it since it wasn't really meeting to think of it. The witnesses could not trust justinsun with the token in steem inc as he could offload them quite early then expected which won't be a good thing for the blockchain. To me I don't see him like someone that can hold unto the coin for long time as a business which he called himself. However there is one thing I like about him. The fact that he refusing to deceive the witnesses by lying of doing what he would actually not do at the end of the day. I credit him for that because made he stand known and the witnesses also made theirs.
I just hope the matter could be resolved amicably. If it is a win win scenario that we benefits both parties I don't see anything wrong with that. But the question is, who is ready to trust each other or give other a benefit or the doubt. In stake in question could not be toys it or else it could jeopardize many years task.
What could happen
Yesterday Justinsun mentioned that he wanted to reduce the day for power down to whatever day he thinks best for him, though the community witnesses frown against such as they believed it would wreck havoc on the blockchain as many could abuse the system by taken off their stake in a matter of second which could be the end of the steem, steemit, inc.
As at now, the power down will only be completed 13weeks after initial execution. He said he wanted to remove the stake he had power up to vote for his witnesses at first as it wasn't really his stake, it belong to the exchange chain he had partnered with to forcefully taken over the blockchain, though he said he action is tentative to the action the witnesses had taken against him over his properties. No conclusion was reached yesterday. We will have to wait for another potential meeting that may occur in the nearest future.
If Justinsun doesn't win
The recent power up is just like a blessing in disguise, if justinsun isn't able to power down as early as possible as he had thoughts then, we could accept increase in the price of steem as there will be numbers amount of steem in calculation. Though, I don't think that will happen anyway because the exchange chain would want to collect their customer fund they had used to power up in the first instance.
Now that we have 7 of the first witnesses to our favor though we can't rest on that as it won't be enough, but for now justinson and his partners won't be able to do anything to forcefully taken over the community.
