I just want to make a correction. I just tried to use Bittrex, and it dun werk. Only blocktrades exit from Steem this minute.

is currently only one way two ways I am aware of that you can sell your Steem and SBD for anything else...

    Nice! Yes, convertibility seems to hang on those three exchanges.

    I've been happy trading steem and SBD on TradeQwik for many months now. Currently you have to go through VIVA as an intermediary but it still works fine. I'm glad I chose Bittrex over Poloniex a year ago, and its a shame they are messing up so bad. It could be an issue if Steem/SBD have less exchanges to trade on. And I'll be watching to see what Steem Inc does about the ever increasing memory needs. Thanks for stating your thoughts on all this!

    Agreed. If there is one thing I've ever learned in the last 4 years of trading crypto is to never panic. Just adjust. Good advice.
