Huobi, one of the largest Chinese digital Exchange founded in Beijing has announced that it will be listing Steem on it's digital Marketplace allowing its Customers to directly purchase Steem through its platform
Steem will be trading against Bitcoin, Ethereum & USD Tether, and based on analysis any Altcoin that is widely traded will likely gain in price due to increase of popularity as the result of becoming a more liquid asset. It helps that Steem gets listed on several different Exchanges and it should be a reason to celebrate as our beloved Cryptocurrency gets more mainstream adoption
Here is the official Huobi statement
"Dear users, Steem (STEEM) will be launched on Huobi Pro on April 25, 2018 (GMT+8). Deposits will be available from 13:00, April 25 (GMT+8). STEEM/BTC, STEEM/ETH and STEEM/USDT trading will be available at Main Zone from 13:00, April 26, 2018 (GMT+8). Withdrawals will be available from 13:00, April 28 2018 (GMT+8)''
Nothing, could expand trading opportunities for an Altcoin more than having their trading pairs expanded by a reputable Cryptocurrency exchange, so ''hurrah'' for Huobi listing Steem as it will lead to greater demand for the digital currency and also help increase the overal trade volume of Steem's liquid Market
This gives us more options to buy/sell Steem on several different platforms, meaning that we no longer have to depend on a handful of Exchanges, as users have more choices when it comes to picking a preferred platform to buy or sell Steem
