"FUD" ( Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt)

in #steem6 years ago

Fear,  uncertainty, and doubt.  This  is  so  big in the Cryptocurrency  space.  The field is just in its infancy and  the masses are just becoming aware of it.  There are so many opinions and  news concerning Crypto. Much of it is negative. This can be so disconcerting for the  new  investors. They get emotional and  make decisions based on this. Fear sets in. They get scared of losing their investment. They question themselves in why they invested in the first place and soon they doubt their decision and get to the point where they panic sell.

They  invested thinking they  will make a lot of money and get rich quick. Of course , they don't do any research or even learn what blockchain technology is.  Without this basic knowledge, their belief is weak and  they don't really see what is in store for the future. That future is  blockchain technology /  digital assets.

Without this understanding, as an investor, you will sway with the wind. Whatever negative news comes, you will react and  "FUD" will set in.  "FUD" is dangerous in that if you allow it to take over, you will  panic and make bad decisions.

Key thing is to  do your homework. The more you educate yourself, the better you will react  to negative news and opinions.  You start to understand that  BTC/crypto  is here to stay and is not going anywhere. That crypto/blockchain  is the new market and  will change many industries in society in how they do business.  This is the next  "big thing" and mass adoption will come.  Governments, Regulators, IRS, Institutions are just positioning themselves.  They have already adopted it and  know that it is the future.  Everything else is just "FUD." Just my opinion, but I believe a good one.  What you guys think?
