Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
The privilege to belong to Christ is the most important gift to humanity. This is like an open cheque, for through Christ we have everything that the Almighty God has. Thus, the realization of this truth is more powerful that anything, including death. One who truly belong to Christ shouldn't be afraid to die physically because in Christ there's no significant difference between living in the world and death.
We belong to Christ, that's the important thing. Do you belong to Him. Everything in this physical world shall end here, but our oneness with Christ is the only eternal value that can be gotten now. One day we shall discover that money, beauty, wealth, reputation, popularity or family doesn't have any value anymore. At that point, what will really matter shall be who we are in Christ. No matter how wonderful our possessions look, they are vanities. Go for the real treasure: Jesus is the eternal treasure we all need.
Arise today and be committed to the good works of Christ. Let the love of Christ rule your decisions. Nothing really matters, except Christ and eternity with Him.

Abba Father, thank you for making us yours forever through Christ. Please touch every heart that hasn't accepted Christ among us and deliver them from the lust of this age. We lift you up that you may draw men to yourself, in Jesus name. Amen.
