Salvation Series Post 15

Pro 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

One of the things we see throughout the scriptures is a tenacity in God’s people. The people God chooses to use for His purposes usually are nobody special in the eyes of the world. He finds people with flaws. Abraham and David were a mess! If we look at the 12 Jesus chose we can see Jesus didn’t choose them because of their skills or education. So many times they failed Jesus, but those who did great things for the kingdom, they got back up and started again.

I took this photo in the Philippines

1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

In my life as a follower of Christ, I have witnessed this same thing amongst the believers. They may fail or fall, but they get back up. I think God hates it when we just lay down and give up. We live by faith. We are not alone for He is continuously with us.

Thank you for joining me in this bible study series.
