It is truly inspiring to listen and think about opportunities for permissionless innovation unleashed by open platforms, especially Steem. Closed social systems stifle innovation and creativity because they are focused on shareholder value. But open platforms allow anybody with a computer and some basic knowledge to try things, build things and share in the combined success of all these diverse initiatives.
