A brilliant light-weight running shoe, with a snug and rigid fit. Many other running shoes I've used the last years have used a rather stretchy material on the top side. This is comfortable when standing still, but when running it gets flimsy and absolutely not good for fast runs or sprints. The 1400v6 are snug and responsive.
If you fall in the category of having a wider foot, this might still not be the right pick for you. Although I do find myself in that group, the 1400v6 is still the best pair I own.
We usually do not think about all the innovation and technology that goes into making good running shoes. After all their success could be measured in the user not even feeling the shoes on their feet.
In all, the New Balance 1400v6 is a great shoe for shorter races, up to half and full marathons.
