Japan is a land which is at high risk of many disaster like earth quake landsliding and flood. To cope these matter special disaster response robot requirement is inevitable. Tohoku university understands the need of disaster robot and developed an amazing robot named "QUINCE". QUINCE is a great disaster robot prototype which is helpful during disaster situation. QUINCE can move easily in difficult places, it can climb stairs and cross any obstacles, it is water & shock resistant and can be furnished with camera and other devices.

I love it when someone put the robotic technology into managing and respondents disasters. Robots don't get tired or panicked and they only cost you money when you loose them instead of lives. I wish it had more features. But I understand that this is only a prototype. We might see lots of cool additions.

Thanks for correction @bitrocker2020. I edited my post. Waiting for your approval. Once again thanks @bitrocker2020

Great innovation particularly for those countries which are affected by the earthquake.
If we know about the Disaster before occurring. We save our lives and property. As a Bangladeshi, I appreciate this robot because Bangladesh also affected natural disaster in every year.
@kamchore very useful product you hunted. Good job . Carry on

I think this is smart having this sort of thing available in an earthquake known country. Using technology in this way makes perfect sense to me. Great find.

Congratulations!
