RE: Steemit, Inc. Leadership Changes

in #steemit5 years ago

i honestly don't know what to make out of this. If ned remain in the background and do what he knows best (tech stuff) without interfering that much to the managerial-finance aspect then i believe it will be a + for all of us. If not then all of this changes absolutely nothing.

Now as far as the new Managing Director, i know mostly nothing as most of us here. She was head of communication, she had an account and literally i had no clue of her existence. I don't recall having her making an announcement or something back then and i think it will be really good if she comes out now and say a few words to the community even if we are talking about the usual stuff.

Also, i am a bit unaware of how the company sector are divided and what are each sector-department has to do. For example Head of communication is relating to marketing and stuff, public relations what? Because when we had some opportunities to list steem and stuff, the whole initiative came from members and groups that are active in the platform.

Don't get me wrong i don't accuse anyone for anything i am just a bit of confused as to what's the point, or if there is any point at all regarding this change. All in all, i will try to be optimistic and say good luck to her. I hope her to embrace the same vision as the majority of the active members in here, try to work/communicate with the witnesses and major groups in here and make Steem-Steemit rise again!

Sort:

wasn't he and dan made steem blockchain and steemit? if that's the case i think he had done something tech oriented, if not then wtf is/was his purpose? :P

wtf is/was his purpose?

Let me know what you find out!
