Some Vote Bidding Bots out there are getting huge total Bids in each round, so that it´s actually very likely that a small bid from a minnow might not receive the expected love that it deserves. Fortunately there are as well other Services out there in the big Steemit Sea, like the one offered by @discordia, which "only" pushes out votes with more than 30.000 SP every 2.4 hours and is not as popular as others, yet…
Okay, now you might ask yourself, why you should use a Vote Bidding Bot just having a small Portion of SP compared to other services out there. Fair enough, but the answer is actually quite easy as you simply got a higher chance on more profitable upvotes. The less people are bidding within a single round and the lower the values of the others are, the higher your chances to receive a bigger portion of the full 100% vote.
Additionally @discordia is not just offering Minnows a higher chance on profitable upvotes but as well some potential sweeteners, which are at least in my opinion already a good reason to use this service.
Some potential Sweeteners using @discordia
By using @discordia you´re not only bidding for a single upvote but as well get the chance to receive some additional and very sweet rewards. One of them might be a follow-up upvote of @ausbitbot, which pushes your Post with another few cents. But of course that´s just a small extra compared to the fact, that you are able to win the Jackpot of a manual upvote from @ausbitbank, which can be as high as 80$ per Post. I guess it´s self explaining, that only real quality content will have the chance to hit this Jackpot but it´s definitely a huge incentive to use @discordia…
How to get an upvote from @discordia
Send at least 0.1 SBD to @discordia while simply mentioning the URL to your Post in the Memo Field. In order to make it easy to understand, here´s how your transaction could look like…
Please just make sure that your Post is not older than 6 days. This way you are pretty much on the safe side to still receive an upvote from the bot as all Posts being older than 6 days and 12 hours can´t receive any love anymore. Further I suggest not to bid more than 1 SBD per round as higher bids might eventually get no profitable upvotes at the time.
Reinvest your SBD to boost your Posts & maybe you win the Jackpot
In my opinion, bidding for a vote from @discordia is like getting paid some sweet extra money to buy a lottery ticket. You receive a profitable upvote from the Bot but still got the chance to win some more votes including one from @ausbitbank, which could push your Post into the Sky with a potential Jackpot Vote of up to 80$. So what are you actually waiting for?

Im confused by the usage of the word 'vote'. If you some SBD are you garaunteed to get an upvote or is your payment a 'vote' & the person with the highest 'vote' gets the upvote & everyone else gets nothing?

I noticed discordia is not busy enough at redeeming its curation rewards.
As far as I can see it´s claimed regularly. But what´s your concern on it? The small amount of SP that´s getting claimed there definitely doesn´t change anything on the total available Upvote on the short term.
On the short term it matters very little, on the long term it matters more.
If you want discordia to grow as much is it can, let it claim all of its rewards prior to upvoting.

Well 100 SP make a vote of about 1-2 ct. So you can do the maths, whether it's worth the time to claim it 8 times a day ;)
It is a bot. How much does such an addition cost for it to execute?

For some reason, randowhale gives a better ROI than discordia, despite its flawed restlessness.

Another thing that I noticed with this bot and others, is a long pause between when its voting power reaches 100% and the beginning of the actual voting.
