A lot’s happening in the world 🌎 of steem currently. And probably one of the biggest happenings is Steemmonsters! Alpha packs sold out in a hurry. Beta packs I believe hit the scene next week. And game play is right around the corner.

I jumped in the kickstarter at the $50 level ... debating on making another $25 pledge or not. I will decide by next week.
I’ve opened 65 of them. Still sitting on the remaining ones. Part of me wants to open them. And another part wants to keep them unopened in mint condition! 😁

I bought 24 packs just before all the boosters were sold out. I planned on holding 20 and opening 4. Ten minutes after buying them I had 0 packs left ... LOL !
I hear you. I’m tempted several times a day to go and click open all packs just to see what I have. But I haven’t done so. I’m thinking these packs should go up quite a bit unopened since there will be no more of them. We shall see.

Yes, I think your unopened Alpha Edition booster packs should certainly appreciate in value. Well done for having the willpower to resist the temptation to open them all up! I've only been able to get my hands on 41 of the Alpha Edition booster packs so far, either from buying them myself, or ones that people have given to me in prizes or just free gifts. From those 41 packs, I found 1 Gold Foil Common card, and 1 Legendary card. Everything else in my collection has been given to me as individual cards, not from packs that I've opened. It isn't a great batting average, so I'm hoping to better out of the Beta Edition booster packs.
