Aiming for gold on Splinterlands

in #steemmonsters6 years ago

Hi Steemit Friends,

I had recently made up my mind to build my gold card collection. Having to play with normal cards have been great but thinking of a long term investment, owning gold cards are more worthwhile considering you get bonus DEC rewards if you use gold cards in your game.

I had taken the first step to start this upgrade. Having to save up some DEC for over a week, I can finally buy a card I use frequently with my water team, the spineback turtle for around $2.50. It is the first step to grow this collection. When I have enough DEC, the next card I will be aiming for would either be the sabre shark which is at $1.20 (over 1400 DEC) or Medusa selling at $6 (over 7000 DEC). I probably will get the sabre shark first and use that more often to win more DEC and hopefully by a few weeks or early can buy the Medusa unless I decide to use Steem.

My aim is to have a full team of gold cards. I am a few of from the below but it will be a good aim. Long term, it is a wise choice as the cards stay with you forever and unless the rules change in the future, I get further bonus DECs by using more gold cards. As I said previously, I am confident with Splinterland and can see long term growth owning these cards.

I think you have a great idea. Owning gold cards is worth it as their price keep increasing over time. I have been working on this deck slowly myself.

good luck. gold cards are not cheap but we can build on it slowly
