The fall factor happens when we are driven by our own impatience. However, the patience comes from God only and not by ourselves. It is not an easy thing to remain patient because we human being tend to run a race all the time in comparison, though nothing wrong in it. It is all normal, fall down and get up, however, it becomes painful too until the things are sorted out again.
Are You Still Patient?
So, waiting for God became mandatory for me after so many fall downs and that needed trust upon Him which is also not so easy to do. Trusting God sometimes can become too much to wait upon, however, it all happens when He sends His spirit for us to help.
Whatever happens with us is all to be put to blame on God in this case because He doesn't help us all the time until we suffer too much. Then God also says that we do not suffer more than what we can tolerate and I have started praying that God should not let any trials on me anymore. Trials hurt a lot because we are in the process of becoming perfect and hence we have to face severe things which we have never gone through or which we do not like at all. During the trials, we have no peace and hence I have started asking God for peace only.
Self-Driven or Spirit Led
The peace+confusion things does not work and does not exists too. Either you have confusion, trials, trauma and no one to support or you have God and His Grace, Mercy and Peace. All this can be done by God of Grace only. We can say that He does this all for His selfish intentions, however, His intention is Mercy only for us. I also felt that God always looks for His glory, even then, I am still in the process of knowing about what exactly He looks for in our life.
I have asked God for not letting any trials on me anymore because I can't tolerate them anymore and so should we all keep on asking because we can't go through so much of nonsense, no much of trouble, so much of persecution and so many things. Sometimes, we really need to earn money and when we give our 100% for hard work it all goes to nothing. It has happened to me many times and when there is no money, we have to depend upon donation or compromising.
Human Race is Disgrace, God is Grace
All goodness can happen by Him, but, when we know Him and He does not come to help us, it become tough. God takes time for everything and even then Grace happens at the right time, they say. In the human race, we are running a race in the competition with our age most of the time and with the comparison with what others are doing. Then, we have some limitations with out biological factors such as body parameters, immune system, internal strength, mind set and so many things that make us weak.
In all this, we find that we need God's assistance, support and practical existence. "God where are you?", I have asked this often and did not get an answer until the trial was over. Trial happens when we have to learn a lot to become perfect as per the Grace of God and not by the law of the world. Grace perfection happens in a process and hence if we are running a race, it really ends up in nightmares and repeated troubles making you feel as if you are now going to die. However, God keeps smiling even then, because He knows that He has put us into troubles and sufferings for a while.
Peace Comes Being Led Only
Finally, we learn to listen to Him, wait upon Him and that means that His spirit is within us. We do not haste in doing things, we do not loose patience anymore and we do not compromise too. Compromising happens when we have no insight of God's greatness or say God being big. God is big and nothing else. The fears make us feel like getting drowned, however, His Grace helps us learn to swim even in the toughest storms.
That is His procedure and it takes time until we are made perfect, not by superficial factors but by the Grace of God. In human race, we tend to become perfect by superficial factors and the virtue within may remain diluted and defiled. In the Grace of God, we have true virtue within.
Being led by the spirit of God is so important and when we are ready to do that, we are also going to receive the virtue of true patience. The patience that does not end in sacrifice, but, in construction and good happenings. He won't put us into test anymore because the spirit of God does not need to test anything. It knows the truth and has goodwill for us. In this world of wickedness, we need someone with an unconditional goodwill for us and that work is done by the spirit of God.
Grace is Unconditional Goodwill
Goodwill unconditionally without asking about what I will get in return. Christ comes into picture at this time. Many people do not believe in God's Grace because they have abilities, however, we need God of Grace when we have to do something extraordinary and something very big which no one else could have done. Not in the terms of power, but in the terms of God of Grace. Something that will put the world into surprise can be done by the guidance of the Holy Spirit only.
Then, finally comes the unconditional love part where we are loved unconditionally by the Grace of God Himself. In all this procedure, we are being loved somehow and for understanding that we again need patience. While all this happens, we are being led by the spirit of God so that we may not lack anything at all. Then what makes us different from the rest of the world is their imperfect soul and our perfect spirit.
I have gone through this journey of imperfection and impatience of the soul and the perfection, patience and the true guidance of the spirit of God. Soul hurries to die and spirit remains patience until life.

Your write up just sum up all the battle going on in human mind.
Sometime in our trial we feel let down by God and got angry sometime. Only God know what some of us think about Him after going through some serious fasting and prayer and answer seem to be too long in coming not knowing or forgetting the fact that God's time is different from our time and God's time is the best time.
But one thing i have come to know is that God is not a wicked God, neither does He take pleasure in the suffering of man and most trial are self inflicted.
When we claim to know what is best for us than our God who created us in His own image and through His breathe gave us life, with this mindset we are bound to find our self in trial after trial unless we realise our mistakes, acknowledge it and surrender to God leading.
Impatience, not waiting for God time and claiming to know more than God is why many of us are facing trial that to me i called self inflicted.
