Wishing you all a healthy and prosperous New Year

First of all I would like to wish everybody on steemit and my special friends at the @ssg-community all the best for the New Year.

If we look back at 2018 we, silver and goldbugs, made quite a roller coasters ride looking at the prices for the Precious Metals.

Gold from $ 1,320 at the beginning of the year to a high of around $ 1,360. Falling back to a level of $ 1,170 and now ending the year after a nice rally on a level of $ 1,280. Still $ 40.00 below the starting point this year.

Silver went from $ 16.80 at the beginning of the year to a high of $ 17.50. Dropping way back to a level of $ 13.90 not so long ago and now ending the year on a level of around $ 15.44. Still more than $2.00 below the staring point this year.

Looking on how the metals recovered the last weeks, the new year looks promising for the Metals.

I am not that optimistic for our global economy. To much trouble and noise going on in the world....
