RE: I'm Back From My Break

in #story4 days ago

Heeey! Look who's back. While you've certainly been missed, I'm glad the break did you well. We all need one from time to time. And it sounds like you've had your hands full. I'm curious to read about these new directions you're pulled toward (and of course, there's nothing stopping you from saying hey, I wanna write something new next year, or in ten years, so) :) R2-D2 is cute as hell and sounds quite a good purchase - I've had mixed feelings about these robotic vacuums. Definitely see their use, and I'm guessing the higher-end ones like Matic do a proper cleaning job (had various cheaper versions at the yoga studios I worked/practiced at, and they always seemed to create more hassle than help).

Sounds like things are going well. Thanks for the viewing suggestion. While I'm generally skeptical about public disclosures of any kind, it's definitely interesting to keep up with the news in the field :)

Yes! Thanks, it's good to know I've been missed. I think I really needed the time away, it always helps to reframe things. I've had my hands full, for sure. I don't think I've ever been so busy. I'd never want to do this extensive of a renovation ever again. Keeping the contractors on track has proven to be like herding cats. I'm so impressed by this little robot! I'll keep it until my Tesla Optimus is ready. : ) Things are going fairly well. You're welcome. These documentaries usually end up disappointing in some way but this one, not so much. I don't trust disclosures either! It's usually a smoke screen/distraction or only the partial truth. I think it's a good policy to never trust the government. I hope you've been well!
