Hi followers, I really wanna share with you on how I placed some order on the Chinese ecommerce site named 1688.com, it's a very interesting story to share with you guys.
I was just strolling through my aliexpress app, then I saw this female handbag that look so nice and cute and I decided to share them with one of my friend who's also a mini importer, he asked me where I saw those bags, and I answered saying "na aliexpress I kuku see am o Bobo", we gisted and talked about the price of the bag, but later on I discovered that it's a way too expensive compared to what I'll be ordering on 1688.com, I never waste my time, I just have to open my browser and typed in 1688.com. 
On getting to this Chinese ecommerce 1688.com, I noticed everything was programmed on Chinese and I know little or nothing about Chinese, this gave me headache for sometimes, but with the help of Chrome browser, everything went easier because it translated everything to English, so I could understand.
Problems/barriers of importing through 1688.com
1. Problem of searching for a trusted procurement agent
One of the barrier i also faced was that the goods there are mainly for Chinese, and before I could place some order for what I love, I've got to find a trusted Chinese procurement agent that will help me, this also take some of my time, I reached out to my friend immediately and he introduced me to a lady she uses whenever he wants to place order, I was so happy that I couldn't do any other thing at that moment than to get the chinese lady's number and chat with her, because this is my first time on 1688.com, I chatted with her, she's such a nice lady, but it takes like 2 to 3 days before she reply back, but nevertheless she's still very nice to me, I told her about my goods and I copied the link and sent them to her then she reach out to the person selling those goods immediately, I was so happy
2 . Problem of how to make payment
This also gave me some headache for some minute, I thought about how to pay this my agent, because she doesn't accept cryptos and that's the only way I can pay her since she's staying far away from me and we don't spend the same currency, I asked her how to go about it and she asked me to pay to her PayPal account, I was like "I haven't done this PayPal of a thing before o", but thanks to this friend of mine, he helped me make all payment and now I know little on how to make payment from a PayPal account....
3. Language barrier
This is the common problem why most people decide not to order on Chinese sites because they are programmed in Chinese but I'm sure with the help of Google Chrome, you'll be able to translate those pages on their sites and you'll enjoy those fine stuffs there.
After so many chats, she had helped me shipped them to a shipping company with my details on my package, and in few hours, I also got a message from the shipping company
, I used cargo shipping, so I'll be getting my stuffs in a matter of 7days, she also sent a tracking number to me
