Your perspectives are keen and interesting I find them colorful and I like colorful things lol! so much love to you What struck me most wasn't just Paul's voice, but his face. That shy smile. The little "Are you sure you're talking about me?" expressions. The humble disbelief. It felt like watching someone who had spent years quietly sitting in the corner of life suddenly being reminded that the music inside him had never stopped playing, and strangely, it connects beautifully with everything else shared here. The lonely soul who hides behind sarcasm. The person standing awkwardly in the corner holding a drink, hoping someone talks to them. The one who slowly disappears because it feels safer than risking disappointment. The child inside us that still wonders, "Will anybody like me?" And then life, in its weird and wonderful sense of humor, sometimes answers... "Actually... yes."Not with fireworks. Not with perfection. Sometimes with tater tots and a group chat called Mutual Aid Society and Bird Appreciation Group.Sometimes with a daughter laughing with her mother over the word "schmuck." n sometimes with a mobile phone salesman from Wales opening his mouth and revealing that an opera singer had been quietly living there all along. I think that's what I saw on Paul's face, Not pride. Not ego. Wonder. Like a man discovering that the world had room for him after all. And honestly, I suspect many of us are a little like Paul. A little lonely. A little self-protective. Making jokes when we secretly need a hug.Standing backstage convinced we're ordinary, while carrying entire symphonies inside ourselves. Maybe the miracle isn't becoming someone else. Maybe it's simply allowing ourselves to step forward and sing. Even if our voice shakes. Even if we expect rejection. Because sometimes the audience isn't waiting to laugh at us. They're waiting to stand up and cheer, and perhaps that's one of life's funniest little secrets, The caterpillar spends years convinced it's just a slightly anxious worm...only to discover everyone else was already seeing the butterfly.
❤️🎶
(Also, can we all appreciate that somewhere in history there exists a timeline where Paul's coworkers at Carphone Warehouse were selling Nokia phones beside an undercover opera wizard and had absolutely no idea? 😂)

LoL, thank you. I guess I can't be more colorful than that.

What struck me most wasn't just Paul's voice, but his face. That shy smile. The little "Are you sure you're talking about me?" expressions. The humble disbelief. Oh! I'm so glad that you caught the message I wanted to convey through that particular Paul Potts video. It is certainly quite difficult nowadays to perceive and detect sincerity, honesty, and humility in people, even when we have them right in front of us. I think everything has become quite confusing lately and people are no longer very used to those very human signs and signals that were much more frequent at one time. That's why I think it's important and convenient to share them and expose people to them so they realize that they still exist.

Isn't it wonderful to realize all of them and all of that? We just have to have the patience and faith to find them, because they do exist and there are far more of them than we might think. We just need to allow them to show themselves and express themselves without pressure. And suddenly all the harmony, glamour, authenticity and humanity manifests and becomes present as an act of magic. These are the magic things that happen when we are really willing to observe and listen attentively to others and not just waiting for our turn to speak.

That's right, many people grow up in this world feeling and believing that they are just a slightly anxious worm or kind of a ugly caterpillar with too many legs and always hungry that only eats leaves its whole life. Until they finally realize that they are about to transform into a beautiful butterfly if they only expose themselves such as they are to the world so that it can show them that they can and how they can spread their colorful wings and fly. As you say, it's simply allowing ourselves to step forward and do it. Whether it be sing, dance, speak or make jokes in front of a big audience.

Hahaha yeah, what reminds me of what that famous old song by Ruben Blades and Willy Colon said: "La vida te da sorpresas sorpresas te da la vida, ay dios" (Life gives you surprises, surprises life gives you, oh god)

😉☺️🤡

Well my friend, I'm afraid that if you don't give me a little more context it won't be easy for me to understand what you meant or what you tried to convey through your cryptic short comment. LoL

Nonetheless, are you by chance implying that "Howdy" is a very common form of expression and greeting in New Jersey?
